Available as a subscription service for all SonicWALL TZ, Network Security Appliance (NSA) or E-Class NSA firewalls or as part of a Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite or TotalSecure subscription, SonicWALL CFS blocks inappropriate content,reduces organizational liability and increases productivity for organizations of any size.

SonicWALL CFS utilizes a comprehensive database of millions of URLs, IP addresses and Web sites. Using a high-performance rating and caching architecture, CFS dynamically updates ratings locally on a SonicWALL firewall for instantaneous comparison. With CFS, administrators can apply access or denial policies based upon over 59 URL categories, individual or group identity, or time of day.

• Appliance-based, Scalable Content Filtering Solution. SonicWALL CFS Premium Editions deliver an enterprise-class, completely scalable content filtering service that runs on all SonicWALL appliances and requires no additional server or deployment costs.
• Web Site Caching. The innovative SonicWALL CFS Premium architecture caches URL ratings locally on the SonicWALL appliance. These Web site ratings are stored for all future users that attempt to visit the URLs, making response time to frequently visited sites virtually instantaneous.
• Comprehensive Database. SonicWALL CFS Premium Editions combine an unlimited database featuring millions of URLs, IP addresses and domains with a unique caching system that reduces latency to a fraction of a second, future-proofing your content filtering solution.
